Hadith on Children: The Prophet gives glad tidings that their children who died are in Paradise

Khalid ibn Ghalaq reported: I entered upon Abu Huraira at the time my child had died, so I found him and I said, “Have you heard anything from your friend that might cheer us up?” He said, “Yes, I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: their children are roaming about in Paradise.”

عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ غَلَّاقٍ الْعَيْشِيِّ قَالَ نَزَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ وَمَاتَ ابْنٌ لِي فَوَجَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ مِنْ خَلِيلِكَ شَيْئًا نُطَيِّبُ بِأَنْفُسِنَا عَنْ مَوْتَانَا قَالَ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُهُ قَالَ صِغَارُهُمْ دَعَامِيصُ الْجَنَّةِ
