Ubadah ibn As-Samit reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There is no Muslim on the earth who calls upon Allah in supplication except that Allah will grant it to him or divert
some evil away from him, so long as he does not ask for something sinful or to cut off family ties.” A man said, “What if we ask for more?” The Prophet said, “With Allah is more.”
[Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book of Supplications, Number 3573, Sahih]
أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مُسْلِمٌ يَدْعُو اللَّهَ بِدَعْوَةٍ إِلَّا آتَاهُ اللَّهُ إِيَّاهَا أَوْ صَرَفَ عَنْهُ مِنْ السُّوءِ مِثْلَهَا مَا لَمْ يَدْعُ بِإِثْمٍ أَوْ قَطِيعَةِ رَحِمٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ إِذًا نُكْثِرُ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْثَرُ
3573 سنن الترمذي كِتَاب الدَّعَوَاتِ كان يتعوذ من الهرم وعذاب القبر
قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ
