Hadith on Covenants: Whoever kills the people of the covenant will never enter Paradise

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Whoever kills someone among the people with whom there is a covenant, then he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise even though it can be found after forty years of travel.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَجِدْ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا
