Hadith on Calumny: The sin of corrupting relationships between the people

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do you know what calumny is?” They said, “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said, “It is relating the sayings of some people to
others in order to corrupt relations between them.”
